as it it had eyes and everything, yes.
So Yule* came and went. I got lots of presents an' it was kinda fun even though my granny is somewhat demented and stupid because of that.
I dunno how people do it in ohter countries, but anyway, after the presents we almost immediately put on a DVD my uncle-in-law got. The new, colour-remastered version of Beatles' Help! and oh gosh it was something too great!
I of coure got nice presents which I am not going to list downhere, 'cause I'm too tired to do that. Some of the nicest were for example a Queen concert, Pink Floyd's tDSotM (actually I bought it for meself) and... wait a sec, I'm tryin' to remember.
Well anyway, the main point is that I got approx. 100 euros right now, and that means some nice shirts (see if I'll find a Beatles tee) and CDs (the Wall is something I kinda NEEED!!! erm.)
And then f course I have a To Buy-list, and the sum of all the things in it is . . . *checks* . . . 634 euros. So I'm not getting all of them right at this moment.
Then there's this. There're somethings I'd like order from the internet (
Like This, which is absolutely adorable!).
But I'm like, not sure if I really should.
I know my mom would let me, that's not a problem.
At least as I asked her about ordering music, like, years ago, and she said it's okay and 'tell me what you wanna order and find out how and then we'll make it happne and you'l gimme the money and I'll order it to you with my bank card' or whatever.
Or it might be I've just been dreamin'.
And I'm sure. A 100 and 10 percent sure that if i showed that particular item (The scarf in that link) and said 'I wanna order this, pleeaase?' She'd say: 'Why don't you knit one yourself?'
And oh God she should know how I hate, absolytely hate knitting or whaever it's called in english.
And I think she does, but 'cuz she sometimes want's to annoy just to make me mad
(just because she's a stupind woman.
(And this just happens to be one of the reasons I don't wanna have children. I'm afraid that I'll turn out to be a mother like she is (and don't get me wrong, she's lovely, but like eww.) and then my children'll hate me too.))
so she'll say 'Well, now's the best time to practice.' And I could say 'But mom, we're gonna knit in school too, don't make me do this, you know how badly I hate it!' and then she'll probably give up and let me order it (and that's something that makes her lovely.) *hopeful*
* Yule = Chrismas. (If you read books in english of happen to be such fan of the english language as I am, and like to watch movies with english subtitles or happen to be so good at it that you don't need to and you have seen the Fourth Harry Potta** movie, you might know that the Christmas ball in it was called Yule ball. So it means that it is a proper word and ) I like Yule better, it's like three times shorter and I's got a nicer ring to it, I think, and of course, it remids the finnish word Joulu.
** Well everyone from Finland should know what potta means, and if you happen to be from somewhre else, do do something to let me know!
