Mechanical Intelligent Replicant Yearning for Accurate Killing

Get Your Cyborg Name

Literature:
Warning: Mild CAPSLOCK!rage ahead.

So, I'm not much of a Twibasher, but that's only because I don't have a reason to be. I relate to those who are, though, as long as they are intelligent sorts and can offer explanations for why Twilight is not good.
I, personally, haven't read the book(s) [and don't want to either], I have watched the movie, but only because of my cousin, and it was in fact an interesting experience [there are good and bad bad movies, and this one was a good bad movie. It was a movie you could laugh at being so terrible. With some films you can't do even that.], but I don't want to watch it again.
The point of this rant is that VAMPIRES ARE NOT SPARKLY (goddammit, if a vampire is actually exposed to any amount of direct sunlight it DIES IN HORRIBLE FLAMES. Takes only some seconds.) and that those teenagers and middleagers and Twihards of all categories should know that REAL vampires are blood-sucking, evil creatures of the night and they don't go to highschool.

Further reading:
Why it's all right to bash Twihards. (This is a good read. I recommend it to anyone who knows of, well, this thing with Twilight.)
Bram Stoker's Dracula (For it includes real vampires.)

School:
On Monday we had to write these summary-type-sort-of-things of a chapter (that had to do with myths and symbols, both things I have studied a bit or a bit more) in our Finnish book that we were supposed to have read, and we only had less than 45 minutes time to do this, and I finished mine in that time, just barely, and if it's not good compared to others' writings the teacher should know this, because if you didn't finish it you could take it home, and I could've made it so much better here, but I wanted to get it done in the time we were given.
But it would be interesting to get less-than-perfect grade for it. And explanation for it too.

Today is good. I watched the XF marathon (except for the last episode, it was a not-so-good one), went to sleep at 4.20 am, was woken up by my mom around 3 pm, ate breakfast (pancakes and strawberries) at six o'clock (pm) and now am surfing mindlessly in the sea of internet.

I think I should go down and read for a while (currently reading John Dickson Carr's Green Capsule-thingy-thing) and then have some sleep.

And it's what shall we do now again. How's this possible?

Yesterday I watched tv. //Ooh, what a surprise!// Two good programs, one concerning fashion, one concerning the relationship of the Bible and movies(Jesus Christ Superstar and The Life of Brian, anyone?). Both pretty good ones. And between them a commercial of a programme called Sex'n'Pop, with the voiceover saying something similiar to 'there's no popular music without sex,' and they cut to footage of Queen, more precisely to Mercury (in the 70s).

Then there are memes.

1. What is your name? - Mirja (Linnea Josefiina, I'm kinda proud of my second names too)

2. Would you say you have an organized bedroom? Why? - Yes, it's well organized but tends to get flooded with clothes and rubbish

3. Is there a band who has had some sort of effect on you? - If it weren't for some bands,  Iwouldn't be here. My life actually changed because of music in 2001 (or somewhere around that)

4. Think of your favorite movie at the moment, what is your favorite character's name? - ONE movie, you're saying? Can I say several? Thomas A. Anderson, Floyd Pinkerton(Jr.[?]), Doc. Emmet Brown, and so on.

5. Have you ever ridden an elephant? - Nope.  I might be allergic to them, you know.

42. You're about to get a tattoo, what are you getting? - I'm not.

So here.

Shall we drive a more powerful car?

etcetc, this song somehow always is playong as I start writing this.

Anyways, A coupla of memes stolen from narttukoira.

What’s your middle name? - Linnea and Josefiina
Are you taller than your mom? - Sadly, I am not.
What are you listening to right now? - PInk LFoyd - The Happiest days of Our Lives/Another Brick in the Wall
Do you crack your knuckles? - No, I don't.
What do you want? - I'd like to get home.

Yesterday I bought two DVDs. Back to the Future I and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

//Do you think that there's enough caffeine in Jaffa to stay awake the whole night?//

Now, I want to get home as fast as  Ican, because we have Back to the Future Parts 2  and 3  on video in there, but pt 1 I've been searching for ages. And Fear and Loathing just happened to be there.

//Because they're  having a marathon of X-files on SUB tonight, from about 1 o'clock to 4-5 o'clock am. Good thing  I didn't buy the sixth season of XF in stead of the two movies, because I have a feeling it's exactly sixth season episodes they're showing (can't be bothered to check though. Could be season 3. or 5. or 4.)  But wasn't it season 6 in which we had episodes 'Monday' and 'Arcadia'? beacuse those names caught my eye in hte paper.//

And then they're showing Butterfly Effect on Sunday. A good movie with a great idea, but  I don't really like the lead actor.

by the way, as  I spend my days (and nights) in this place called Nowheretown 61,
I cannot recieve news the way  I would if  I were home.

I mean, nothing major, just that Zeppelin is very possibly coming to Finland. Nothing bigger than that. Hm?

Hehheh.

So today  Iwent to watch this 'Next' movie, starring Nicholas Cage, and it was good.
I also had something else I was supposed to tell, but I once again,  cna't remember it.

Oh, beep, don't care of the pyto-typos, dammit! I don't have the . . . .strength to write po-rpperly  PROPERLY!

So I'm watching House. (Don't ask, search the posts tagged X-files, they'll tell you all you need to know, though in fact you don't need to know aaa thing.) So, it's late, I'm bored, blahblahblah, TESTS! So, I'm watching House. + TESTS! equals? Yéah, you guessed it, if you didn't, I will quote Voltaire: 'Common sense is not so common.' Love that. So, most of them said. Deja vu, of the program. I've seen this before. Heah. So, they said 'You resemble House' - which is wholly untrue unless you know me. But I'm too tired to blah! tired to explain my mind here (sometimes i think- think, that there's a problem, either with everyone else in the world or me - that's it, in a nutshell).  So I thought they'd all come out saying 'James Wilson', but noo.

Do I make any sense here?

But anyway, with four tests behind all saying 'House' the last one I did had the best description yet:

Congratulations, you're the snarky bastard Dr. Gregory House. You're a genius doctor and you enjoy annoying your boss. There's a rumor that you and your best friend are gay though...

Ho yeah~! I'll go and see// actuall y I alsoo thought that the tests- awww! the tests would result Cameron-whateveeerherfirstnameis. yeah. I'll go and see  if i could get a diveersion in the results, what do you say, dear friend?

// another one, describing 'me'   'You are brilliant at what you do, but have the social skills of a banana'
  -gee thanks.

HA! WILSON, it says! But   that's what you get of poorly done tests, in which you know . . . like in there's like two answers and you immediately know which one's which.

I  am BORED TIRED don't you stare at me! And shut up. *yawn* right in the middle,  I don't want tofinish thiss. I'm going to go and have some sleep.  Iownder how clean my  bed is.  Ifeel like there´'s a pile of random stuff on it.

So umh it's half past midnight, goodbye.

So. Once again, [info]narttukoirahad this kind of nice memeish thingy up in her journal.

Rules:
Comment on this entry and I'll choose seven things from your interests and you will explain why you're interested in those seven things.

And narttukoira of course chose the interests.

Aliens
- So yeah. I've been interested in paranormal things for quite a long time, I was always the one to say 'I do believe in extra-terrestrial lifeforms!' and I always have to correct if people who mean 'aliens, humanoids' talk of UFOs as if ufos were little green men. That's super annoying. And besides the general interest in the subject I am also a great fan of the X-files.

Ballet
- Hm. I used to dance when I was really little, under seven years old. Nowdays I enjoy going to see pefrormances. The last one I saw was Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake - it was beautiful! And I must say that I believe not very many of my age like ballet like I do.

History
- Hah yeah! Umm. 'The one who can't make account of the past 3000 years lives only from hand to mouth' -Goethe. (And my own translation from Finnish - couldn't find one in english!) Yes? I like history - I think that to understand the present and the future you have to know the past. And I find it interesting to see how the culture of men has grown and changed during the years and years of our existence. I like to know things, you know? - And anyway, history's one of my top five favourite school subjects.

Michael Jackson
- Hee. Jackson was actually what got me into western music (I had been listening to japanese (and now I loathe peple like that, it's so mass thing.).). Um. It began on my sixth year of school. I gave up Japanese music and started listening to MJ - don't ask why, I remember our music teacher playing us a song (Don't stop till you get enough) - I liked it, or something. I do remember that my two first songs were (Not Billie Jean and Thriller, but) Man in the Mirror (on Bad, released 1987) and Ghosts (on Blood on the dancefloor, ten years later). Soon after MJ came Queen. And that's how my classic-rock education began. So I must thank MJ.
And oh! We made our 'ending-the-sixth-class' dance show (tradition in the school) on MJs Smooth Criminal - And it's still my favourite song by him.
And nobody can say he didn't know how to dance, and that's a fact.

Mythology
- Well this is a bit like Aliens etc. I am that sort of non-religion-but-believe-in-everything-else -person. And this goes hadn to foot with history. And you gotta admit it's fascinating, right? All those myths of diffirent kind of creatures and legends of great men and gods and all that, hm? Anything from folktales to . . . the history of Middle-Earth goes.

Shouting
- Yeah. I like to shout. Shouting is fun. I rarely do so though. It's a good way to release stress, only two ways are better (and the other one is only a assumption) 1. Music and 2. Blowing things up (I haven't blown anything - not that I didn't want to.)

Theatre
-This goes to the same locker with ballet. I enjoy going to theatre, seeing plays and stuff like that, musicals and operas and all. I even have played in a five-man performance of Macbeth. We played only a bit though, I was, I'd say 12. (And I played the lead! With beard and all!) Theatre's that sor of experiance you can't get by watching filmed performaces on video - you have to be there, like.

~This was fun!

Stole a little something from [info]narttukoira .

1. Go to your desktop and press the Print Scrn key (located on the right side of the F12 key).
2. Open a graphics program (like Picture Manager, Paint, or Photoshop) and doing a Paste (CTRL + V).
3. Post the picture on your blog. You can also give a short explanation on the look of your desktop if you want. You can explain why you prefer such a look or why it is full of icons. Things like that.
4. Tag five of your friends and ask them to give you a Free View of their desktops as well.

Clickety-click for a bigger picture.

It's a collage of sorts.
Ummh. i've stolen these pictures from around the internet, a lot of them are from the rock_macros community. I thought one day 'Oh my desktop looks so dull.' And then I made this.
It's extending and changing all the time, I just added some pics and took one boring away.
I haven't got sa many icons on it. Only the most needed ones. like My Computer, Photoshop and my music Folder. There's simply no space for the rest of them. I used to have loads omore of them, in the ancient times of simple backgrounds.

And My awesome new Spinal Tap icon. Won't be very long-lasting, but I just wanted to have it. I watched the movie last night.

And then the footnote: Everything's a lot funnier with slash in it.
