Okay. Many things. Shortly.

Portugal - Sunny beaches and stuff.

Work - I might have some.

TV - Torchwood s03 is going to be watched right now. Not on TV though.

Life - Made tolerable by my darling computer and some chocolate.

Random things - This. A scan from the Finnish weekly culture paper NYT. The picture is named 'scifiuhattunaiikspock.jpg' on my computer - that would translate as 'scifi-being-threatened-yikes-spock.jpg'

Photobucket

I shan't translate the whole thing, but this is the main idea:
Scifi isn't doing that well when compared to fantasy. Younger people discover science fiction as they grow up, though, so there's nothing to really worry about.
The article states that the Star Trek movie sold only a fraction of what the Harry Potter movie did.
Fantasy books, such as Twilight, sell much better than scifi.
The most disturbing line of text can be found under the picture. It says that 'The young sci-fists don't know Spock anymore.' - Now talk about terrifying - yet true!

Dif-tor heh smusma and the salute to you too, I do know Spock, and am well proud of it!

Can you believe it?
I actually have fucking tears in my eyes. They bloody killed Ianto! They fucking killed him! That's no way to treat us. I haven't been this sad because of a death of some TV character, like, ever! How could they do it? And how can they make Jack leave? Isn't there going to be a next season of Torchwood? That's MONEY! And no bloodshitting John Hart played by the marvellous James Marsters can never compare to the awesomeness of Garet David-Lloyd as Ianto Jones! I used to adore Russell T. Davies. And now he fraking killed off Ianto. I ain't fucking getting over this in weeks.
There's Torchwood on TV now too, 1st season episodes, but it's all just so sad and yargh! Just can't take it.

I'm gonna need some happy coming-back-to-life fanfiction now.
